Operator and ownership

MyAkme is a service of, and the property of, NVS Consulting LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company with its principal place of business in Richmond, Madison County, KY 40475, USA. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to NVS Consulting LLC. The MyAkme name, software, templates, design, and all related intellectual property belong to NVS Consulting LLC. Using the service grants you no rights in them beyond the limited, revocable permission to use the service under these Terms.

You keep ownership of the content you enter or upload. You grant us the license needed to store, process, render, export, and — only where you choose to publish or share — display it on your behalf.

Use at your own discretion

MyAkme is a tool that helps you organize and present information you supply. You use it at your own discretion and at your own risk. It does not provide medical, legal, credentialing, licensing, employment, or financial advice, and nothing it generates — including AI-drafted text and parsed CV content — should be relied on without your own review. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of anything you submit to an employer, hospital, licensing board, granting agency, or any other third party, and for complying with their requirements and with applicable law.

What MyAkme is

MyAkme is a SaaS for authoring, parsing, and exporting curricula vitae for academic and clinical professionals. It is not a credentialing service, a regulatory submission portal, or a primary source verification system. Hospitals and granting agencies that require primary source verification should continue to use those processes.

NIH biosketch + SciENcv

For NIH submissions on or after 2026-05-08, you must submit your biosketch through SciENcv directly. MyAkme's biosketch surfaces and SciENcv export are intended for drafting, review, and non-NIH purposes (departmental promotion files, internal review, foundation grants, etc). Verify any SciENcv import against your SciENcv account before relying on it for an actual submission.

Pricing and subscriptions

MyAkme is free for providers — physicians, residents, students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other advanced practice providers, and researchers — including the CV builder, credential library, exports, public CV page, and job browsing and applications.

Paid products are for organizations: recruiter accounts (posting jobs, searching candidates), employer accounts (onboarding and credentialing the people they have hired, with that person’s approval) and institution-branded plans. These accounts are opened only after review and approval by NVS Consulting LLC; no paid plan starts without that approval. Paid subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled through the employer billing page; on cancellation, paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are at our discretion; write to admin@myakme.com within 14 days of a charge if you have a problem.

Account security

Two-factor authentication with an authenticator app is required on every MyAkme account. You are responsible for keeping your password, authenticator device, and any recovery information private, and for everything done through your account. Tell us at admin@myakme.com right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. If you lose your authenticator device, we can reset two-factor authentication after verifying your identity.

Data protection

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with encryption keys we control, and the most sensitive fields (license, DEA, certification, and policy numbers; NPI; addresses and phone numbers; gap and attestation explanations; messages) are additionally encrypted inside the database so they are unreadable without the key even if the database itself were exposed. No system is perfectly secure; see the Warranty and Liability sections below.

Identity documents

You may upload your own identity documents where credentialing calls for them — a driver’s license, passport, visa, green card, Social Security card, or other government-issued ID. Keep up to five in the Identification section of your library. They are stored encrypted, document numbers are additionally field-encrypted and only ever shown masked, they are visible only to you and to employers you have explicitly connected with, and the copy used for account verification is deleted once you are verified. Upload only documents that belong to you.

What you agree NOT to upload

MyAkme is for your own credentialing materials only. By creating an account, you affirm you will not upload:

  • Identity documents or identifiers belonging to anyone other than you
  • Patient names, dates of birth, MRNs, encounter dates, addresses, photographs, or any other PHI as defined under HIPAA
  • Patient case logs that are not de-identified, or any log that, in combination, could plausibly identify a patient
  • Anything classified under ITAR, EAR, or similar export-control regimes

If we detect prohibited content we will purge it and may suspend the account. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity and do not sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs). If your workflow requires a BAA-covered store for the materials in question, this is not the right service.

Procedure-log entries on this service are aggregated counts only (procedure type, count, date range, institution). Case-log PDFs are allowed only as de-identified exports — no patient names, MRNs, dates of birth, encounter dates, or free-text that could identify a patient — and you confirm that on every entry. Health-record uploads (immunizations, TB screening, titers, clearances) are your own records, never anyone else’s. Any field that approaches patient identity will be flagged on submission.

Acceptable use

  • One account per person. No account sharing.
  • Don’t upload PDFs you don’t have rights to.
  • No reverse-engineering, scraping, or programmatic use beyond the documented API.
  • Account deletion via the in-app flow purges your DynamoDB partition immediately and your uploaded credential files within 30 days.

Warranty

MyAkme is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty about the accuracy of parsed or AI-generated content, the suitability of any layout for a specific institution’s requirements, or uninterrupted, error-free, or secure availability. Always proofread an exported CV against the source document before submitting it.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, NVS Consulting LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, applications, credentials, income, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the greater of $100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim — which for free accounts means $100.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold NVS Consulting LLC harmless from claims arising from content you upload, your use of the service in breach of these Terms, or your submissions to third parties made using materials produced with the service.

Changes

We may update these Terms; the date above tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Material changes to pricing for an existing paid account take effect at the next renewal.

Termination

We may suspend an account that violates these terms. You may close your account at any time. On termination, you can export your data via the in-app delete-account flow before wiping your partition.

Governing law

State of Kentucky, USA. Disputes resolved in state or federal courts located in Madison County, Kentucky.
