MyAkme is a service of NVS Consulting LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company with its principal place of business in Richmond, Madison County, KY 40475, USA. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to NVS Consulting LLC.

What MyAkme is

MyAkme is a SaaS for authoring, parsing, and exporting curricula vitae for academic and clinical professionals. It is not a credentialing service, a regulatory submission portal, or a primary source verification system. Hospitals and granting agencies that require primary source verification should continue to use those processes.

NIH biosketch + SciENcv

For NIH submissions on or after 2026-05-08, you must submit your biosketch through SciENcv directly. MyAkme's biosketch surfaces and SciENcv export are intended for drafting, review, and non-NIH purposes (departmental promotion files, internal review, foundation grants, etc). Verify any SciENcv import against your SciENcv account before relying on it for an actual submission.

Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. Cancel at any time via /billing. On cancellation, your tier reverts to free at the end of the current billing period — you keep paid features until then. Refunds are at our discretion; reach out at admin@myakme.com within 14 days of a charge if you have a problem.

What you agree NOT to upload

MyAkme is for academic and professional credentialing materials only. By creating an account, you affirm you will not upload:

  • Social Security Numbers, taxpayer IDs, or images of cards bearing them — yours or anyone else’s
  • Driver’s licenses, passports, visas, green cards, or other government-issued ID images
  • Patient names, dates of birth, MRNs, encounter dates, addresses, photographs, or any other PHI as defined under HIPAA
  • De-identified patient case logs that, in combination, could plausibly identify a patient
  • Anything classified under ITAR, EAR, or similar export-control regimes

If we detect prohibited content we will purge it and may suspend the account. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity and do not sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs). If your workflow requires a BAA-covered store for the materials in question, this is not the right service.

Procedure-log entries on this service are aggregated counts only (procedure type, count, date range, institution). Per-case logs and any field that approaches patient identity are not supported and will be flagged on submission.

Acceptable use

  • One paid Pro account per person. No account sharing.
  • Don’t upload PDFs you don’t have rights to.
  • No reverse-engineering, scraping, or programmatic use beyond the documented API.
  • Account deletion via the in-app flow purges your DynamoDB partition immediately and your uploaded credential files within 30 days.

Warranty

MyAkme is provided as-is. We make no warranty about the accuracy of parsed CV content, the suitability of any layout for a specific institution's requirements, or uninterrupted availability. Always proofread an exported CV against the source document before submitting it.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the total fees you've paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend an account that violates these terms. You may close your account at any time. On termination, you can export your data via the in-app delete-account flow before wiping your partition.

Governing law

State of Kentucky, USA. Disputes resolved in state or federal courts located in Madison County, Kentucky.
