Not a clinical system

MyAkme stores CV and credential data, not patient data. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity and do not need to be. PHI, SSN, and government-ID images are prohibited content under the Terms; you agree to that at signup. If you would not put it on a public LinkedIn profile, it does not belong here.

Never spam. Never share.

We send service email only: trial start, payment receipt, renewal alert, share OTP. No marketing blasts, no newsletter you didn't ask for. We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone outside the named subprocessors that run the service. Everything you put into MyAkme is yours to do with as you choose.

No PHI allowed

PHI, SSN, taxpayer IDs, and images of government-issued ID are not permitted on the platform. You acknowledge this at signup before any credential upload. If we discover prohibited content, we will purge it and may suspend the account.

I am not in medicine. Is this for me?

Yes. We started in academic medicine because the format requirements are unforgiving, but the underlying problem (one record, many output formats, expiring credentials) is universal. We have template support and renewal tracking for attorneys, engineers, finance professionals, architects, and consultants, with more verticals shipping monthly. If your profession is not yet listed, email admin@myakme.com and we will tell you when it is ready.

Will you spam me or sell my data?

Will my biosketch be accepted by NIH?

Yes. Our Common Form layout matches SciENcv's, and we export an XML you can import directly into SciENcv for submission. The May 8, 2026 cutover is the format we ship.

You keep full read and export access until your billing period ends. You can export your entire record as JSON at any time. When you delete your account, your database rows wipe immediately; uploaded files clear within 30 days.

Can my institution buy this for our whole department?

How does PubMed sync work?

Paste your ORCID or NCBI Author ID. We fetch your publications, dedupe by PMID and DOI against your library, and queue new ones for your review before they save. Nothing auto-imports without your sign-off.
